オートデスクは、日本チームに加わる熱心なソフトウェア エンジニアの求人を予定しています。 チームの一員として、オートデスク開発者コミュニティの活性化、3rd party のアプリケーション開発者との連携、また、コミュニティを成功に導くための API 要件を、開発チームに橋渡しする重要な役割を果たすことが出来ます。
業務内容：
開発者コミュニティを通じて啓蒙/サポート活動をスマートに実行し、 3rd party の開発者がアプリケーション開発で積極的に最新のテクノロジを採用出来るよう、さまざまな支援をしていただきます。
今回の募集では、.NET とオブジェクト指向のテクニックを十分に身に付けていて、学習と問題解決の経験をお持ちのエンジニアの方を歓迎いたします。具体的な活動として、オートデスクの製品への API を将来のパートナー企業や ADN 加入メンバーに広める、カンファレンス、ウェビナー、トレーニング クラス（ワークショップ）の講師、お客様との対面ミーティングでのプレゼンテーションや解説や助言をまどが挙げられます。
東京を拠点として、Web、電話、電子メール、およびオンサイトの訪問を通じて、世界中のチームメンバーや ADN パートナーとコミュニケーションしていただくことになります。オートデスクの製品開発部門とコミュニケーションも同様です。新製品や新バージョンのリリースを評価して、そのフィードバックもしていただくことになります。テクニカル マーケティング イベントへの参加や、新製品の機能紹介も含まれることがあります。
日本での活動が主体となりますので、3rd party の開発者やお客様、パートナー企業とのコミュニケーションは日本語です。開発チームとのコミュニケーションは英語になりますので、基本的な英語の読み書きは必要です。しかし、心配無用です。もし、ソフトウェア エンジニアとして働いていらっしゃるのであれば、既に求められるレベルをお持ちなはずです。

求められる特性（もちろん全てに該当しなくても大丈夫です）：
- コンピュータ サイエンスまたは関連技術分野の知識や業務経験をお持ち
- Windows 環境で Visual Studio 開発ツールを使用した .NET の5年間の経験（5年は長過ぎるので2～3年くらいでも結構です）
- オブジェクト指向設計およびプログラミングの概念に関する知識

Position Overview
Autodesk is seeking to hire a passionate Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Tokyo, Japan. As a member of a high-impact team, you will play an important role in energizing the Autodesk developer community, work with 3rd party application developers, and influence the Autodesk engineering teams on API requirements for making the community to succeed.
The Opportunity
The aim of this position is to seamlessly runs evangelism activities though the developer community, and make the third-party applications, based on Autodesk products, to use the latest technologies available.
The successful applicant will have a good grounding in.NET and object-oriented techniques, and show an aptitude for learning and problem-solving. The role will develop to include evangelizing the APIs to Autodesk’s products to prospective and existing ADN members through conference presentations, webcasts, training classes and one-on-one meetings.
Based in Tokyo, Japan, the Developer Advocate will interact with other team members from around the world, and with ADN partners via phone, e-mail, and onsite visits. Interaction with Autodesk’s product R&D engineering department will also be required to evaluate and influence new product releases. This position will develop to include participation in technical marketing events to evangelize Autodesk’s products and to educate the ADN members on new product features.
In this role, primary language to communicate with 3rd party developers and customers will be Japanese. Reading/writing English will be needed to communicate with our engineering team. But no worry, you already have that if you are a software engineer.

Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Five years’ experience of C++ and .NET with Visual Studio development tools in a Windows environment.
- Knowledge of object-oriented design and programming concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technology and techniques.
- Basic English skills for Reading/writing in English to communicate.A constant desire to improve, learn more and take things to the next level.
- Ability to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic, fluid environment.
- Detail oriented and passionate about building software and technology.
- Good customer-facing skills and customer service orientation.
- Prior experience of developing applications for AutoCAD, Revit and/or Inventor is preferred.
Bonus points
- Experience with Web development (HTML/JavaScript/Java/GWT/etc) is a plus.
- Experience or knowledge on the Autodesk Forge API will be appreciated.
- A background in computer graphics with both theoretical and practical expertise. - Comfortable and effective working in new areas that require experimentation and rapid problem solving
- Domain knowledge of an Engineering discipline and General Design is preferred. Background in Manufacturing industry or Building Information Modeling (BIM)
